In Any event, I'm running a Dell Latitude D610 with FreeBSD 6.1-STABLE. The last cvsup on my source tree was Jun 19th. The problem I'm having is, for the life of me I can't seem to get hw.acpi.video OID entries to show up. I've followed every bit of advice I could find on the mailing lists and usenet postings.

My system is a Dell D610, running updated Fedora 7, with Intel 915GM video chipset. I've just had a kernel panic, running a vanilla 2.6.23-rc5, no proprietary modules loaded, running X11 under moderate load. 2.6.23-rc[2-4] have been rock solid on the same box. I've reverted to rc4 for now.

I'm not going to be hauling this thing around Regarding my Dell D610: I'm very happy with its build quality and fortunately haven't had to call support yet (it has the 3 year warrany all Lat's come with)
